Individuals who are disabled can also ride and in many cases this can actually help with their development and will help assist with the progression of their physiotherapy.

It also allows them to have the physical contact with the animals and the enjoyment of actually been able to stroke, touch and even feed the horses.
 

Riding for the disabled (RDA) is an association which is provides an opportunity for disabled people to participate in riding and carriage driving, both of these lead to the individuals benefiting through there general health.
RDA's are situated at many riding stables throughout the country.
 

So if you have time to spare and would like to see the infectious smiles and enjoyment of individuals having fun.
